I changed my environment.rb with the following:

RAILS_GEM_VERSION = '2.2.2' unless defined? RAILS_GEM_VERSION
ENV['RAILS_ENV'] ||=
'production'
<-----this is the change
ENV['RAILS_RELATIVE_URL_ROOT']="/rails"

which seemed simple enough. I then killed the dispatch.fcgi process to
restart it. Even after that nothing is working. I did rake db:reset
then I tried to do a script/generate hobo_migration but i got the
following.

rake aborted!
An error has occurred, all later migrations canceled:

Mysql::Error: Table 'clients' already exists: CREATE TABLE `clients`
(`id` int(11) DEFAULT NULL auto_increment PRIMARY KEY, `name` varchar
(255), `info` text, `created_at` datetime, `updated_at` datetime,
`user_id` int(11)) ENGINE=InnoDB

I was under the impression rake db:reset would clear the database so
how could "table 'clients' already exist after I ran a reset? To
figure out what's going on, I deleted the database using the bluehost
cpanel (my site is hosted on bluehost) and recreated it. I again ran a
hobo migration which seemed to run to completion, but the site still
shown a "we're sorry but something went wrong error" so I tried to
migrate again, expecting a "models match, nothing to change" message,
but instead it said I have a migration pending. I deleted the pending
migration, tried to migrate, and got another mysql error table
clients already exists. My best guess is my migrations aren't properly
affecting the databases, yet I don't think it's because of anything
like username or password in the databse.yml file since the first
migration i performed on the freshly created database went through (I
noticed a file size increase in the production database file from my
cPanel).

anyone have any suggestions?

perplexed,
CJ
