So I edited the application.dryml after installing the plugins (paperclip and paperclip_with_hobo) and I managed to upload a photo from the edit page. The weird part is my view page looks like this:
Bob Edit User About under construction Email Address bob at domanitech dot com Photo File Name gir_invisobg.png Photo Content Type image/png Photo File Size 168417 so instead of viewing the obviously uploaded photo it's just spitting back that annoying info.
