In the spirit of the landlubber who is bound and determined to set forth and explore the joy of web development on the good ship Hobo, I am once again eyeing the boat over my shoulder. This is after having chopped off the mast by redefining <page> in clean, and perhaps putting a couple of inadvertent holes in the hull by mis-aimed swings of the axe.
I walked down the beach after those actions, but now am giving it another shot. I swam around a bit in the murky waters of documentation and discovered <% form_remote_tag :url => "/users", :method => :post do %> which is giving me some service, but would like to know if that fine jib <signup-form> is still available after cutting off the mast. It did not give me much service the last time I hauled in on its halyard. But I am hoping that it was from lack of expertise on how it is implemented. If some more seaworthy citizen could point me to a nice example of its use, including the wherefore of using field-list fields, I would be much obliged. And knowing if <signup-form> can be ajaxified with a nice varnish would be dandy to.
