Hi all, I have posted and received many helpful comments here and I have started a blog about my application development with hobo which may be useful to some of you (probably the newer members, not the Rails experts).
I am a very experienced database professional (Oracle data warehousing) but a Rails/Hobo novice so I think my perspective on it might be helpful. One of the appeals of hobo is how rapidly you can get a very professional looking application without having to master all of Ruby on Rails. Check it out or follow if you like to see what I'm trying to accomplish and I'll keep you posted on how/where I am using hobo in my solution. The blog is called "Beanery Rails" and is located at: http://beaneryrails.blogspot.com/ I plan on blogging my application, its design and what works and doesn't with hobo as I go through the process of converting and aging Client/server Windows application into a hobo/rails solution. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hobo Users" group.
