Matt and Bryan:
Thanks for the immediate response. I sent my last e-mail with the app
running in development mode and no sign of the subject files. Manually
invoking the rake hobo:generate_taglibs created the files as soon as I
hit <return>.
Thanks again,
Don Ziesig.

They should appear automatically if you view a page in development
mode. Or you can run:
rake hobo:generate_taglibs

At several places in the on-line hobo documentation, I have found
references to the directory "views/taglibs/auto/rapid" and three
files in that directory: cards.dryml, forms.dryml and pages.dryml.
It seems to me that the contents of these files would be useful, if
only to see the underlying code as exemplars to what I want to do.
In some of my earlier experiments with hobo, I see these directories
and files, however I have upgraded to hobo 1.0 and they seem to have
evaporated.
Is there some way that I can get them back?
Thanks,
Don Ziesig
