anyone want to take a schema, or sqlite or mysql db i've got and quickly throw together a hobo-based app for me? it's only got 3 tables now - one of which is the "main" table and one is a lookup table for abbreviations used in the rows of the main table.
it'll need: - paginated searching on that main table in the database - listing the records using a join to another table (e.g. replacing one of the fields that uses abbreviations with plain english from the lookup table) - listing the abbreviations table in a popup or sidebar, so users can know what abbreviations to use when searching - uploading/attaching pics to the items in the main table's rows - showing a single item from the lookup listing (e.g. the object card/page) with pics for a specific item in a mini-gallery.. maybe using lightbox? - all the regular user stuff that hobo handles, and limiting editing/adding records/pics to users with admin rights i know this should only take an hour or two for an experienced Hobo/RoR user - i'm just too busy at the moment to spend the 2-3 days it would take me as a lingering nuby, and want to get a beta app up so i can work on the dryml, and look/feel, and learn from and existing codebase. i'll pay $123, and would like something back in 24-48 hours. a couple months ago i made the mistake of thinking someone else who offered could do this, and after 3 weeks realized he didn't know much more about it than i did :) best, andrew -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hobo Users" group.
