Hi, I have played with Dr Nic's theme solution. Its a really great solution. It takes a basic html and css solution and adds it easily to a rails site. All you really need to do is add a <% yield %> to the centre of the layout in the body for example for the display by rails, and the rest is done. You can then change the sides, buttons, etc. But, if you have designed a site using css its really, really easy to integrate.
Although, I have no idea how it would work with hobo. i am new to hobo and still havent figured out the template, etc yet. so, beyond the fact that it works nicely with rails, I cant tell you much more.
