Hi Joachim,

Thank you for your time.

When the user uses the browser to login, he/she will have to submit a form with the forgery hash field. The rest of the process (identify if the user is logged in, who is he/she, etc) is managed using a cookie on the browser's side.

I'm developing an iPhone client for an Hobo application and I'm lacking knowledge regarding how this process is managed with jSon. i.e. do I need to submit the protect from forgery hash? how do I keep record of the cookie, etc.

I would like to have an overall image of the process.

Thanks,
  Tiago Franco

Hi,

Has anyone implemented user authentication with json?
What do you mean by login with json? Something like

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1830241/simple-authlogic-question-json-login

a regular email+password login that sends you response in json?

Regards,
Joachim
