Yes, there is. :) The access_denied function (called by the login_required filter) calls store_location, which sets session[:return_to] to the URL that has just triggered the auth failure.
The standard hobo_login method calls redirect_back_or_default, which looks up that URL and redirects. It's pretty much all code adapted from (I believe) the old restful_authentication plugin. --Matt Jones On Sep 30, 2010, at 5:39 PM, kevinpfromnm wrote: > uh, how would it do it by default? is there a magic before_filter you > can add that handles authenticated only access? > > On Sep 30, 2:05 pm, Matt Jones <[email protected]> wrote: >> On Sep 30, 2010, at 3:53 PM, spokra wrote: >> >>> Does the current login page have the ability to redirect to the URL >>> that redirected to the login page.. >> >>> so if someone bookmarks a page that needs authentication the user gets >>> the login page and after login is redirected back to where they wanted >>> to go? >> >> It's supposed to do that by default - is it not working in your app? >> >> --Matt Jones > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "Hobo Users" group. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected]. > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/hobousers?hl=en. > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hobo Users" group.
