Kevin's solution is the way to go if you've got a list and need to send out a
bunch; I also typically add this to User lifecycles:
transition :request_password_reset, { :pending => :pending }, :new_key =>
true do
UserMailer.deliver_invite(self, lifecycle.key)
end
(tweak as needed to match the 'not active' status and mailer name) The net
effect is that users who lose / don't receive the original mail can use the
"Forgot Password" form to request a resend. This seems counter-intutitive, but
live users seem to do this by default when they get confused.
