Does anyone ever ship real sites with the default look? I would assume not. Not
that it's wrong, but one usually wants to customise the looks. If so I'd think
that moving to a limitless option would help. A vertical navigation on the side
would probably be the easiest option.
Believe it or not, I have a client that loves the default look (the same
one where the magic tab limit started this thread). The only difference
in the deployed site will be having the client's company logo in the header.
I have a separate main-nav.dryml file for the dynamics of the tabs (not
all tabs are visible simultaneously) and multiple lines of tabs. There
is a slight issue that I have not yet investigated. If the active tab
is on a row above the bottom, subsequent rows are indented to the right
of the active tab, causing the number of rows to increase, sometimes
drastically.
