What if you have a front-end suitable for clean theme and a admin suitable
for a clean-sidemenu theme? If the theme would be dynamically set you could
have it done with just one line of code. Now it's just impossible.

Of course you can, but specially for newbies (but not limited to), changing
a word in a tag is much simpler than overriding the whole page tag in the
subsite dryml. Besides reusability would be very different. I try to reuse
as much code as possible, so I would prefer to create a new theme that I
could use in other apps, than override a page tag that will cost about the
same effort, but will be relegated to the specific app, unless you call copy
and paste "reusability" :-).

That would be wonderful, but we don't even have a dynamic per-subsite theme
now, so a dynamic per-user theme it's just a wonderful dream :-).
