I am Trying to install hobo on Trisquel GNU with Linux (which is the
free version of Ubuntu). I tried the same process in Ubuntu 10.04 with
the same problem as a result. As you will see, I have to install hobo
twice. The steps taken are:
# aptitude update
# apt-get install language-pack-es-base ruby-full build-essential
sqlite3 libsqlite3-dev
# wget -c http://production.cf.rubygems.org/rubygems/rubygems-1.6.2.tgz
# tar xvzf rubygems-1.6.2.tgz
# cd rubygems-1.6.2
# ruby setup.rb
# ln -s /usr/bin/gem1.8 /usr/bin/gem
# gem -v
#
# gem install sqlite3
