Just to illustrate with a diagram, I have the models graphically represented here: http://bit.ly/mCDOy9
You can see down at the bottom of the Property model in the middle the attributes that were previously split off into a PropertyDetail model and further were connected to the Seller model. My previous problem came through a Seller having many properties through PropertyDetail and so I simplified it in the manner you see here. I would be more than open to any recommendations by those with more experience as to refining suggestions for my model architecture here. Ultimately I'm interested in making this a community project so that anyone who needs a real estate application can have a Hobo foundation with which to work for, hopefully, a very robust real estate management system. Thus any input with regards to making this the best it can be will be coming back out to the community. Seeing the lack of strong open source real estate apps built on Rails has lead me to this idea, particularly since I'm developing this for a friend at the moment as an opportunity to learn Hobo by fire... :) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hobo Users" group.
