Got an app running on RC3 + 1.9.2, invite only setup. request_password_reset generates a new key and sends off the email. can bring up the reset_password page. put in password and password confirmation. but, it will only change the password if you're already signed in. at first I thought permissions so setup update_permitted? to true to test but still have the same problem.
accepting an invitation allows password setting (or resetting), which is how I've worked around this for now. The only part that I can't rule out being the problem is that fact that this will work with openauth as well as passwords. Open auth is a completely separate model though (based off example code Bryan posted).
