A note if you're upgrading a 1.3 app in addition to the changes listed in the manual: in order to get the asset pipeline pull in of hobo styles/js, you'll need to add the front/admin.js/scss files from a from scratch app to get the auto load functionality in place. One way is to do a hobo new and apply the same options to the wizard as you would if you were starting your app from scratch, and then copy in the assets into your old app and the relevant lines in the Gemfile.
