Ok, you just need to install Hobo. For example, these are the
instructions I recently used in a fresh Ubuntu 12.04:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -y ruby1.9.3 rubygems nodejs libsqlite3-dev git
export GEM_HOME=$HOME/.gem
echo "export GEM_HOME=$HOME/.gem" >> .bashrc
gem install hobo
PATH="$HOME/.gem/bin:$PATH"
echo 'PATH="$HOME/.gem/bin:$PATH"' >> .bashrc

After this you should be able to run "hobo new yourapp". If it doesn't
work, please say and I will check the instructions on a virtual machine.

Ignacio
