Hi Arthur, I agree with Bryan, I've been using Vagrant for the last few months and it's fantastic.
I had meant to share my recipes for some time and this is the perfect opportunity, so here they come: https://github.com/iox/vagranthobo You can try these instructions (and blame me if anything fails). If you like this approach I can add further instructions for PostgreSQL and Mysql, and maybe add them to hobocentral.net :).
