I found it, i set the original_filename
@download.document.class.class_eval { attr_accessor :original_filename }
@download.document.original_filename = @download.document_file_name
which is necessary with the way fineuploader posts images, but which is not
true for jquery-upload.
This somehow destroys paperclips file handling until the app is reloaded.
