Hello all, While experimenting with different versions of ruby and rails when doing a new install, I ran into a problem where hobo (and sometimes rails) would hang. Occasionally I would also get inconsistent results from running the same command sequence twice.
I eventually tracked it down to the spring gem hanging, possibly because it could not figure out to which background spring server it should send commands. Fortunately the solution is easy: kill all your running spring processes. They will be restarted when needed.
