This one week school aims at covering a blend of recent experimental and
computational techniques and concepts in synthetic biology, as well as
discussingsome of its broader social issues. Specifically the talks will
cover:
bio-bricks andstandardisation of parts, design by simulated
evolution,modular modeling and formalisms, synthetic clock constructs,
energyproduction,advances and strategies in bio-fuels, engineering of
synthetic bacterial ecosystems, as well as a discussion of the social
context of synthetic biology.
The registration fee is £300. A limited number of travel bursaries and
discounts on the registration fee will be available.
