Yo Folks! Andy and I have been talking off list about moving the blog to a flat-file and very CloudFiles friendly platform. Pretty exciting stuff! But it got me to thinking that maybe we should also branch out a bit more in terms of promoting Holland outside of the Rackspace walls. It's a project that has so much potential beyond just solid MySQL backups at the Rack. One thought I had was maybe setting up a Twitter account we can share and post updates to about new features and things?
I'm not sure how much traction it would get but it might be something to consider? Beyond that, I really think adding content to the blog on a more regular basis would be a really good idea. Once the new blog gets setup, I think we ought to shoot for at least bi-weekly updates to the project, by various members of the Holland team if we could. Work has been happening on 12.04 for instance, and 1.1 is still right around the corner. Thoughts?
