(similar to photoshop)   Never heard of GIMP.. is it free??  I have a CD of Photoshop 5 that I can go back to. That is my current contingency plan. I can not offer any specific help . . . anyone else? One thing I have learnt from long experience is flexibility and contingency what the military call triarge What do you really NEED to do how to achieve that with the tools you have . . . For example I use Dreamweaver but on my system I have 'Composer' part of Mozilla and notepad all of these can be used for building websites The software for my camera ONLY works with Windows 98 - one day it will work with Linux - oh happy day . . .   Calu calay I can borrow a camera buy a new one install a dual boot system etc . . . m m m . . .
