Hi ts,

Kate (from ProjeX - the Hardware and practical side of tmxxine)
has set up this Blog . . .
http://tmxxine.blogspot.com/
If you look on the entry for July 15 2004 (today)

you will see I have added the RSS link for HolyGeek Support
That means info on the HolyGeek forum (which is a public forum)
is open for anyone to use as I have here . . .

The beauty of XML is (rather like a database) the data can be displayed
or called in different ways

The most obvious use of this is having RSS links to sites specialising in
Quantum theory BUT only displaying (filtering) material relevant to time travel

If you would like to join our group blog (interesting in itself as an experiment)
I can mention this to Kate - then you can add diary entries, pics etc . . .

When I first came across Blogs I found the idea of a Solo rant
boring but Wikis and group blogs - that sounds like fun.

It is likely working a community mural

and I need your help again . . .

Laxmi . . .

We are in the process of creating at ProjeX
a Foundation or trust or charity (early days yet)
to fund the first hardware

We do not even have a name . . .

based around the Goddess Laxmi
(maybe she can go in the Da vinci PovRay)

Lobster

What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for distributing web content (such as news headlines or new content in your group). Using RSS, you can display the newest messages for this group in your web log (otherwise known as blog) or view them in an RSS reader.

What kind of content does Yahoo! Groups provide via RSS?
Yahoo! Groups RSS includes the most recent messages to a group. If the group is configured by its owner to show its messages to the public, it will also have an RSS feed. The feeds are free of charge to use for individuals and non-profit organizations for non-commercial use.

How do I use RSS?
Just add the following URL to your RSS reader or web log.

RSS   http://rss.groups.yahoo.com/group/HolyGeek/rss   Add to My Yahoo!
