Does sound similar to what i experienced ts.
Still have had an occasional virus allegedly sent from "my" id to a list or two... doesn't seem like anything can be done.
I configured our router yesterday and now have 3 computers on the internet. The router came with Norton Security and so for a while we had 2 firewalls - McAfee and Norton - so secure it squeaks i think? Seemed like overkill and so turned off Norton, as it was less user friendly than McAfee. Will probably replace that with Zone Alarm or the one Lobster suggested trying - Sygate.
Does anyone here have any hands on experiencing using MS Home Network? Would like to, but ran into a problem possibly related to different OS versions...
Win 98 SE, Win ME, and WinXP are on the router now. Soon to add the Linux server. Seems as though i will not be able to get the Macs on, though.

probably a yahoo thing ...
"they" have somehow harvested the groups membership
rolls and their email addies.
this is the very reason i use that "dummy" address
for the yahoo groups ...
and try to keep my private one separate.
ah well ...
just keep an eye out for this kind of thing.
and don't open the attachment that comes with it.
