in a very simple and easy way. . .
then check out timelines - (every ozmonaught should have one)

Great product, thanks for the link, Lobster.

Another useful photo product for sharing pix is photobucket, which is wholeheartedly endorsed by the teenager (aka head geekess) in my household. :)

They are presently upgrading infrastructure and will not be accepting new members for a few days (the service is free, btw), but here is the link so people can try next week or so:

What do people with digital cameras do when they're on vacation? It's not quite the same as filling up a roll of film and reloading... What to do when the memory card gets full - spare cards are pricey.

Lizzie is going on her vacation next week, in the wilds of NewHampster.. She is taking her laptop and so will be able to upload the pix , but that may not be an option for other people going digital on vacations.

The drugstores in our area have computers that allow people to upload all manner of digital images and they then burn to CD for you while you wait. The equipment reads several different camera memory cards and sticks, diskettes, and CDs too.

I've been using my old 35mm SLR a lot this summer, mostly with the new Kodak High Definition 400 ASA film. I used to use 800 a lot because i like being able to work in low light, but the new 400 HD film has amazing color and clarity - greens are very vivid, pinks electric, yellows are so buttery. For people who are not digital, suggest giving it a try. I used to always use FujiFilm  but am excited about this new one.

The shop that develops the film for me (gave up having a darkroom 15 years ago) burns several rolls onto a CD at a  time for me, so there is the best of both digital and analog. The cost of a CD is only $2.99 per CD, and several rolls fit. The CD includes the free Kodak picture editing and disply software, with a slide show format, too.

Thanks again for the link, Lob.

Happy Friday, everyone.

love and peace,

joyce
