Lob, thanks for the two dsl info links. Hoping there is something that will help sort out my weird dsl partial connectivity problem. I have about 30 hours til Her Lizzness returns and her second sentence after walking in the door will be about the computer connection.
ts - thanks for your post with the suggestions from your tech guru about checking the settings. Hadn't changed anything in the settings anywhere between Monday night, when the dsl worked, and Tuesday morning, when it did not, and so didn't look there at all, but i should.
Sam - Good luck with your new partz for your computer.
