Yes and no.
By that i mean to say that when the program prompts "do you want to make this your default browser" i answer No.
However, when i launch the browser, i always launch Firefox now UNLESS i know i am going to use some program that only works with IE - so far, that would be CurlChat or Curl... those are the only ones i know of that need IE.
Hope this makes a litle sense.
