Hi Sam -

Yes and no.

By that i mean to say that when the program prompts "do you want to make this your default browser" i answer No.

However, when i launch the browser, i always launch Firefox now UNLESS i know i am going to use some program that only works with IE - so far, that would be CurlChat or Curl... those are the only ones i know of that need IE.

Hope this makes a litle sense.

love,
joyce

Hi Everyone -

Somewhere here Lobster recommended FireFox browser (i think it was Lob who suggested it).

I installed it a while ago and all i can say is Wow!!!!

I decided to give it a try because of the firewall / denial of service / security concerns that had started to become an issue this week, and i expected inprovements in those areas.

What i did NOT expect was the PHENOMENAL improvement in browser loading speed. Absolutely remarkable... sooooo much faster that Internet Explorer 6.x.

Even opening HotMail - an MS site - was vastly faster with FireFox.

Thanks for the recommendation, Lobster. This one is a clear winner.

love and peace,
joyce
