Yes, i have had trouble burning. The CD Burner i bought came with Nero. The Yogini computer already had Nero, an earlier version. Silly me, i forgot to uninstall the old Nero before installing the upgrade. This was back around New Years and ended up buying the Nero Professional (or whatever it's named). So far, i have had no success with ISO images, so maybe this software will help my burning adventures.
On a different note, the computer is working much better since removing the upgraded firewall software.
I'm thinking maybe the spy who loves me has also changed some things, because i haven't received any of those fun virus messages in the past couple of days. To tell the truth, i miss them a bit, the adventure of them all.
On the other hand, i've been receiving spams around the clock, 24x7, for many weeks now. They seem to arrive at a rate of 4-5 an hour. Yahoo is great at routing them to the spam folder, but i would love to block them or slow them down. Have tried removing myself using the opt out, but we all know what that usually does! LOL. Some of them are interesting and clever and they are mostly harmless.
Speaking of mostly harmless, that's the title of a good Douglas Adams book - Mostly Harmless. It's nonfiction, about real endangered species including a pink dolphin in China that is blind and a wonderful, gentle flightless bird named the kakapoo. Worth reading...
But i digress.
