Yesterday I lost all my past reference emails - all email settings in fact

Sometimes when we try to improve things, we don't.
So this gives me a chance to try Thunderbird.
I am pleased with Thunderbird mail, but have not found an antivirus program that automatically works with it, so it sits idle while i continue with yahoo mail and hotmail and gmail (barely). Does anyone know of one?
Yesterday, again something happened to my aol password and had to reset it.
More adventuresomely, yesterday my dsl account disappeared - knowmystery is not a recognized ID there.
Are the paranoids after me again?
Anyway, now have NO access at all from home! Ah, remember the simple pleasures - reading a good book, making music, making soup? I do.
