They have to be able to interpret animal behaviour (know when an animal is ill or weak as they are scavengers - as are we) I have seen a magpie outwit a cat (that poor cat was just taunted so badly) and two dive bombing ravens drive a fox out of their territory. A lot of people associate them with death. They are also associated with the Dalai Lama (appearing at his birth) Merlin and Alchemy. They are also very different all being crows but with differnet characteristics. There is a crow NA tribe? I am sure I remember children stories of smart crows . . . . . . mind you those crows talk I guess we have to learn the language. One of the reasons I am so interested in a quantum leap (so to speak) of computer processing power is to translate animal behaviour and sound. This takes a great deal of observation and pattern recognition capacity. We barely have language tanslators between human languages . . . "Hello Mr Crow . . ." Lobster PS.
