Which I think is the more significant piece.... And why we cannot simply accept "just use RIPng" on its own. We have to see what any routing protocol is going to look like with set (by us) defaults and no user configuration, as well as how it either incorporates or interfaces with prefix assignment, border detection, etc. Given the ongoing problems interfacing ND and DHCPv6 we are living through right now with 6204++, I am personally wary to accept that any of these facets in the homenet can truly operate independent from one another.
