I am working with honeyd in a lab, with all LAN IPs 192.168.1.x. All of these
can interact with internet through a router with a public IP A.B.C.D.(The
router in my lab does not have the DMZ function) My question is: how to expose
all the IPs simulated by honeyd in LAN to the outside? If there is only one
FALSE IP, i.e. 192.168.1.100, then I can make use of Port Mapping in my router
to solve this problem to some extent. I can make out the following mappings:
A.B.C.D:80 <--> 192.168.1.100:80 A.B.C.D:139 <--> 192.168.1.100:139 A.B.C.D:445
<--> 192.168.1.100:445 ... However, I have to stimulate a range of IPs,
i.e.192.168.1.101 to 192.168.1.200, then how can I expose them? Otherwise, all
of these FALSE IPs may possibly run safely in my LAN even if without firewall
or anti-virus software, which reverses my intent of attracting hostile
activities. Could anyone here can help me solve this problem? Thanks in advance!
