This is the ideal.  Make Honeywall an installable package.  As to the
comment:

Of the distros with liveCDs that I've looked at, they have a means of
generating a liveCD based upon the currently installed software.  That
means any user, or even the project, could generate such a liveCD with
any distro that offers a liveCD and those tools.  So, I see it as the
best of both worlds.
