From a friend came a Russian made in Moscow single F, righthanded,
military horn. It must have been owned by yet another Dane previously
because the contact disk for the 1st finger is a Danish 1 Krone, which
fits in size. You likely will a local coin of the right size.

I have just completed the restoration of a horn made in the
1880's
by A. Meindl in Czechoslavkia. It is a B-flat horn and plays very well
and easily in the upper octave, not so well lower down. The 3rd valve
is
2 steps. I haven't seen this before in a horn, but I did have a helicon
that was the same.
I'm still looking for a button for the first valve, any ideas? You can
see a picture of it before my restoration on Horn-u-copia:

"<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Carl, I have a
twin for this horn out in the shop here. For that missing keytop I
think you are just going to have to make it. The tops on mine
aresilver, just a nickle silver disk. Check "smallparts.com" and see
if theysell it in the thickness you need, rough cut it out and grind it
down. Itmight be done with a coin too. Your missing the leadpipe, how
did you playit? Mine is at the bottom of my repair list because it is
going to need aclockwork spring replaced, those are a pain.Leonard"
