A friend of a close friend & Horn player has developed a chop issue.
This is a guy who spent many years in one of the major military bands,
as well as three major orchestras both in the US & abroad. He was
always somewhat of a 'natural' - but now, he's baffled about whatever
   has happened.
He's trying to play through it. However, it remains a rough situation
for him. Of course, he's a bit leery of putting 'too' much information
out there for all to see. But, he's wanting to get some more help -
and, he doesn't want to waste time on simply a "name" or great player
who won't be able to truly help him physically & technically.
Do you know & can you recommend a good "technician" type of teacher or
player who might assess what is going on & point him in the right
direction? He's an incredible musician, and he doesn't need a musical
"coaching" on excerpts & etc. Rather, he needs someone who can identify
& help correct the problem as quickly as possible. Do you know of
someone (anywhere?) that fits that description??
Thanks in advance for any info.
