Michael Gray's 1979 discography of Rodzinski's commercial recordings lists no Till Eulenspiegel from 1937. However, there is a 1940 recording of Till with Cleveland that was issued (and later reissued) on Columbia. Rodzinski also recorded Ein Heldenlieben with Cleveland in the same year, and you can find MP3's of this recording at the internet archive:

I have no idea who played horn on any of these recordings. -MH >---------------------------------------------------------------------- > >Message: 1 >Date: Sat, 03 Oct 2009 13:34:48 -0400 >From: [email protected] >Subject: [Hornlist] 1937 Till Eulenspiegel (Wendell Hoss?) >To: [email protected] >Message-ID: <[email protected]> >Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" > > >Does anyone know of a 1937 recording of Till Eulenspiegel with the Cleveland >Orchestra???My teacher, David Jolley has heard a rumor >about the recording >and wants to see if his teacher (Wendell Hoss) is playing the solo. > >Thanks for your help, > >-Marc Cerri _______________________________________________ post: [email protected] unsubscribe or set options at https://pegasus.memphis.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/options/horn/archive%40jab.org
