I have developed an overwhelming interest in
my Alex Vienna Horn. It more or less SINGS
when I play it. I really am enjoying it, almost to
the neglect of my Paxman 25M. Well, almost.
But I seem to recall reading many years ago that
the technique of playing a Vienna horn is rather
different to the more common French Horn technique.
At 76 I am not (YET) really a hornist, and would very
much appreciate advice, instruction or whatever from
the expert players on this List.
While on the subject, can I say that Yes, I have sold my
Pizka Vienna Horn, mentioned on my website, at one
third of the market price. And the German buyer tells me
   is very pleased with it.
