Hello fellow listers,

I am wondering if anyone out there knows of or owns either one of the very
few produced Yamaha Japan Custom Handmade 862 Kruspe copy horns
built in *Yellow Brass *vs the Nickel Silver.

*OR one of the Yellow Brass Yamaha Japan Custom Series 868 horns.*

I have for sale or trade an A1 condition Nickel silver unlacquerd 1982 fixed
bell version of this model of horn, with a 2 year old Walter Lawson FB
210.125 leadpipe attached, with Alexander style leather adjustable
handstrap, hand built additional Main Tuning Crook to pitch the horn in E
Natural ie: playing Fidelio and Mendelssohn made easier...

I Love this style of vintage horn but have come to find through trying my
college colleagues Yellow brass Kruspe horns that I prefer the darker sound
of the Yelllow Brass
Large Throated horn as do my instructors and ensemble directors over the
past week.

Let me know off-list if you may have information on the whereabouts of one
of these horns and if a Trade would be of interest or a plain sale.

Email- [email protected]

Take care,
Benjamin
