A neighbor just gave me a silver plated single F cor a pistons made in Paris in 1855. Also, The slides are stuck and someone reversed the first and third slides. For some unfathonable reason, the third valve slide is supposed to be backwards so that it curves around under the second valve. There is a picture in Robin Gregory's book of a similar horn by Boosey and Hawkes.
