that someone always misunderstands something I say in my posts??? huh? Huh?? I didn't mean to come across defensively. And I stand corrected on the other branches of the military. I just didn't want the player looking for a better experience to get the impression that concert band, by definition, sucks. Although I must admit that playing in any group, no matter how good or bad, that has sax does inherently have a certain degree of 'suckage' to it ;) Not to mention euphonium and/or barely-a-tone. But sax and baritone players are human too (or so I'm told)....
