FYI: My friend bought one of these inexpensive aluminum stop mutes from Ebay and it sounds great. It seems quite sturdy, too, one-piece of solid molded aluminum. My brass stop mute cost more than three times the price of this one and fell apart. It cost $25 to have repaired. Grrrrr.
