Dear friends and colleagues,
On behalf of the Saarburg Festival, I
would like to announce that we are currently accepting applications for
horn students for this summer's "Saarburger Serenaden," to be held July 5-19,
2010. The "Saarburger Serenaden," an International Music Festival and School,
is set in the romantic city of Saarburg, Germany. The program is geared for
high school, college and young professionals and designed as an advanced
training program for singers, pianists, composers and instrumentalists (violin,
viola, cello, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn & harp).

The program will consist of:
· individual lessons (for all participants)
· individual coachings (for singers)
· chamber music coachings (for all participants)
· opera ensemble coachings (for singers)
· stagecraft classes (for singers)
· French, Italian, German, Russian diction (for all participants)
· Opportunity to perform solo works as well as chamber music
(the focal point remains chamber music)

We have chosen the name "Saarburger Serenaden" to reflect an incredibly
romantic environment. We would like to extend our warmest welcome to
the musicians of various cultures, ethnic and musical backgrounds,
gender and age. We sincerely hope that the time spent in Saarburg will
be productive, enjoyable and memorable for all of us.
For more information about the program and how to apply, please visit
www.saarburgfestival.de.

Please feel free to disseminate this information to any of your students or
colleagues who may be interested. Thanks!

Thank you!
Emily Britton
