Hi all---more soon, I'm not at home, but , if mid-80's, and late 80's, yes,
George Gruntz Concert Jazz Band, often it was Sharon "Ahnee" Freeman and
myself. Earlier, '83, and 84, Peter Gordon and myself. Later in 84,
South America tour, I think Sharon, me, and Vincent Chancey too. Early
90's, sometimes just John Clark, sometimes John C and me. For the summer
'91 Montreux date with Miles Davis, Jon, me, and then they added Alex
Brofsky and Claudio Pontiggia. Gruntz is a great composer/arranger, they
were always GREAT bands--wonderful mixes or Europeans and Americans. Some
cd's are available on the ECM and ENJA and TCB labels. Where can I see
this video? You should all know--I was only 12, a prodigy then!!
