By the way, the conductor of this album is John Mauceri. More than 30 years ago I had the fortunate opportunity to play for him in a casual reading orchestra. If anyone ever has an opportunity to play or work with this gentleman, take it! He is a fine musician and wonderful human being, genuinely supportive to all his players.
