Subject: [Hornlist] Exceptional video of Leopold Mozart Sinfonia da caccia
first
movement

I was trying to find a video of something, about which I can no longer
remember the slightest thing, when I stumbled onto this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIdEeGX2sqQ

I particularly enjoyed seeing the hornists perform standing. Looking at
the way they posed and each held their instruments, made me wonder if
pre-hand horns came in left and right handed models and if 17th and 18th
century livery outfit trousers came equipped with pockets. My comments
will only make sense, if even then, if you look at the link first and
focus particularly on the principal pair of horns (in G).

Enjoy,

Peter Hirsch
