Over six years ago I had the top of a lower front tooth break off similar to
what the "Other William" described. I had the bonding done at a cost similar
to
a filling, as described by Steve Haflich, and it has been fine. Lordy knows I
use a lot of pressure against my lower teeth when I play horn. I don't like
the
veneer or crown alternative because once you grind a good tooth down, it is
never as permanent or as protected: veneers and crowns can leak and they have a
natural weak point at the seating (bottom) location that can be an entry for
decay; the precision and care of the dentist is a major factor on how long
these
protect the tooth until they need to be replaced.

Regards,
Larry
