I want to chime in on this one. Three years ago I purchased an Atkinson 502. Nice horn, Kruspe wrap, much like my previous 8D. So I assumed my gold plated 7BW would work best. Nope! The custom made mouthpiece that came with the horn has proven to be better than any other (Giardinelli C4, Holton MC, & MDC, and the 7BW). You have to play for a while to figure it all out.
