I have used Dave Weiner's technique with my MooseWoods and it works very well. For me, no need for the boiling water.

I rarely separate rim from cup, but have had trouble each time i tried. Here is what worked for me. Boil some water in a small pan, then grasp mouthpiece by the insertion end and hold it in the water ONLY RIM DEEP. After a minute or so, tap the rim with a rawhide hammer and then try unscrewing it, using one of those thin rubber grip pads normally used for stuck jar lids. This will not only give you a better grip, but will protect your hand from the hot rim. _______________________________________________ post: [email protected] unsubscribe or set options at https://pegasus.memphis.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/options/horn/lewhorn9%40yahoo.com _______________________________________________ post: [email protected] unsubscribe or set options at https://pegasus.memphis.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/options/horn/archive%40jab.org
