I would agree completely.  Sideline readers may be very interested in the 
conversation, just not having anything to contribute.  The free flow of 
information, opinion, invective, etc. is quite refreshing.

Well, it's the way this place has run since 1999 at least. It cycles, flames 
pop up die off. Many folks lurk, then join in when it suits their style.

May times these small exchanges have lots of folks on the side line doesn't 
mean they aren't interested.
